Windshield wiper fluid reservoir sensor

Does anyone (MarcusF) know the part number of the windshield wiper fluid reservoir sensor and how much it costs??? My dummy light is on in the dash and the reservoir is full, I am assuming it is the sensor

That's it. The same part is used on every MB washer I've seen. The big question is, if it's used on everything from a C220, to an S-Class, to a Black Series, why does it cost so much? List is 47.50 (discounted to 37.05). I would think that since it's used everywhere, and has been for so long, that it would be closer to $20.

Yeah, these sensors get dirty (mine does on occasion and trips the dash light). Just unplug it, clean it out and you're good to go.

No, I posted a thread a while ago about how I got it to work again. Basically pulled the sensor apart and cleaned it, it has worked perfectly since.

Probably clog up due to crap tap water in the washer bottle. Use some good washer products (summer or winter additives) as it helps to keep the washer bottle clean not forgetting the windscreen too. That's what the washer bottle is there in the first place
