Could someone please post up the P/Ns for the euro sunglass tray and the optional coin tray with cigarette lighter that replaces the ash tray and tiny coin tray. Can't seem to find them anywhere.

C43 AMG is a high performance car. it is different from other C-class cars. it has full complement of Mercedes-Benz safety-equipment.

The CF Grille looks outstanding. Was it $155 USD including shipping or was shipping extra?

Cheers

The CF isn't CF but rather black and grey checker paint. I have the "CF" grille and all though it is a high quality grille in hind sight I wish I had gone with the black slats. Once I finish the rest of my projects I will probably be replacing mine with the black slats.

I believe I paid $175 with shipping, the shipping was LIGHTNING fast!

Smile Re:CF Grille

I thought that was a little inexpensive to be genuine CF. It looks great regardless and I ordered one earlier today.

I have the same one mounted on "T Rex" which is silver. I also have a black slat on my dark blue C240 wagon. I don't think the CF one would have looked nice on the dark colored one

I thought that I would add this to the list. I purchased my last set of Vogtland springs for my '99 C230 for $148 USD from them. They were having an overstock sale a few years ago on certain model#'s and are quite a bit cheaper than Vogtland na. The C43 lowering springs are only $211.49 USD compared to $249.99 USD and their lowering kits are $659.87 USD compared to $779.99 USD. They always have frequent sales so it is best to check their site periodically.

I just did a complete interior (except vanity mirrors) and license plate LED swap with LEDs from superbrightleds ... The result is just great. You get rid of the yellowish interior lighting and get a pure white (not ricer) LED lighting which looks amazing at night. I got many compliments from friends... It's a very cheap and easy to do mod. It cost me about $25 for 2 dome lights, 1 map light, 1 rear seat dome light, 1 glove box light, 2 license plate light, and 1 trunk light.

This week, I also got a complete HIDs conversion for both the headlights and fog lights. I went with 8k 55W HIDs and it's definitely not too blue like people often describe it. It looks perfect and you definitely get people's attention. It cost me $240 for both headlights and fog lights with a 1 year warranty for parts and labor.

Here is a pic showing the difference in lighting inside the car (not even at night).

Is there a reason why you didn't do the vanity mirrors? Are you going to go as far as I did and do the reverse lights, tails, etc?

I actually based my mods on what you did and your posts. I remember reading that the vanity mirrors were a PITA to change so I did not really look into it. I did not find any DIY for them but I will definitely look into it. Any specific info/recommendation on that?

Otherwise, I think I'll keep the tail lights as they are, it does not bother me for now and they look OK. But it's true that yours look really good.

For the vanity mirrors, open up the plastic cover for the mirror and get a good, firm, even grip on the base of the cover (near the hinge) and pull straight out. There is a slight chance you may break the hinge (it'll definitely sound like you will but I didn't break mine). Swap bulbs and install of the cover is the reverse.

C43 Suspension options

Here's a quick list I made of all the popular aftermarket shock and spring products for our car. Just thought it might be useful to someone seeing part#s and prices all in one place. If someone has a cheaper price for the H&R club kits let me know, because those prices are from their website and I think they're high.

*Bilstein has one more shock version (the B6) [the tire rack's HD PNs say that they are B6 HDs, but in the bilstein catalogue those HD numbers show the B4 shocks) and a couple of springs and a spring/shock shock combo they say will fit the 202 chassis. Never heard of them before, and the prices are inquiry only, but sounds interesting.

If you go the Bilstein route, you need the B8's, but then you choose them from the w208 CLK55 version

C43 - S/C Kleemann

Well fairly new to the Forum, but finally getting back owning a MB.

But thought the forum might be interested in the Mods I'm having done.

Brakes: Large Brembo brake upgrade (6 piston 14" front 4 piston 12.9" rear)
Wheels: Two piece 19" AMG Wheels (from Sl65) 19x8.5 (f) 19x9.5 (r)
S/C: Kleemann
Headers: Kleemann /w sport cats
Suspension: H&R /w Billstiens

When I get home more to come that I plan on working on myself.
Still deployed and can't wait to get home to see it and drive it.

Here is the fb page from the guys doing the install with pics:
