Need Your Help Real Quick..
I have a C43 and I have the following issue.
When I turn on the car I need to adjust the seat but the controls will not work on both driver/passenger seats.
SOMETIMES after driving a little while they will start to work.
Any ideas of what may be causing this?

I looked online but cant find these relays. Called the dealer and they said there are 2 of these relays. They want $90.00 EACH plus tax.
Any suggestions where i can find them cheaper?
Also, anyone know what they look like and where exactly they are located?

One last offer - if you drive to my house, for $75 I'll sell you the relay and include my 30-second free install. If that doesn't fix the problem, I'll take $25 off the price
In all seriousness, with either a 4 or a 5 prong relay, all you care about is the amperage rating. Other than that, they're all the same and usually under $10.

I bet they do want $90. I'd like $75, but can't find anyone to pay me. That's because most standard 4 and 5 prong relays are under $10. Pull yours, go to an electronics supply house, and ask for one. The replacement may even say Bosch or Hella on the side.

If I remember right, you need to remove not just the fabric flap that covers the spare, but also the plastic cover that is underneath the fabric flap.

Is there no diagram? Either under the hood or at the back? As previously posted, the relay to change is the comfort labelled one. I had the exact same problem as you, changed up the relay and fixed.

Marcus, how about snaping a picture and pointing me to the right relay?

Just wanted to update this thread in case anyone else runs into this problem.
The comfort seat relay is the one located under the plastic cover that you will find AFTER removing the trunk carpet cover.
The cover has three plastic screws you have to remove with your finger/nail and the cover comes out. On the RIGHT side you will see a BLACK relay, It's held by "clamps" on each side. Use something thin like a nail filer (or the like) and spread the clamps away from relay and pull out. Not that easy but be patient and it will come out.
The relay has SEVEN PINS/PRONGS, and you can replace it with the item I pasted below (link). Or search for this part number= 002-542-22-19
Btw, I have not bought it yet. What I did was remove the relay, took off the relay circuit board from the black housing, pressed the one of the sides which clicked like a "reset?" than I installed it and my seats started to work each and every time!
I will be buying a new one just incase. Thanks to everyone that helped out!
