C43 BAS ESP ABS questions, problems and possible solutions

I am starting this thread to find possible solutions to disable ESP and also BAS interference.

This is for w202 C43 models, non-stock, used for autocross, track, hill climb and so on, that's why i am not interested in people saying that this is not safe and we should keep these on all the time, etc.

1. Is the BAS/ESP/ABS system dependent of steering wheel diameter?

I have a 350mm momo currently installed with correct hub that engages the steering angle sensor and steering angle sensor arrows are aligned with the marks on the steering shaft. After install, the BAS/ESP and ABS lights are on. I did the reset procedure, lights go off, i drive around the block, 3-4 turns and lights come back on.
I pull the codes and they're about the steering angle sensor only, nothing else.

Thing is that if i put back the 380mm stock steering wheel, all lights go off by themselves (no reset procedure) and everything stays normal.

2. ESP and BAS interference

With all BAS/ESP/ABS lights on:
- ABS is off for sure: tested hard braking and there is no ABS kicking in
- ESP kinda off: i can do burnouts all day long and around every corner i can kick out the back for a short time, but ESP and
- BAS... kicks in if i really kill the car and i mean even if all the lights are on but i force the car sideways or at 40-45mph to go over a hump in the road, i feel the calipers engaging and exclamation (!) sign in the dash blinking

I will test to fully disable BAS by unplugging related sensors, just wondering if anyone played with this so far.
- unplug steering angle sensor OR
- unplug yaw or lat acc sensors OR
- unplug solenoid/valve at the brake booster OR
- unplug ABS unit OR
- unplug the sensor at the upper control arm

I would like to hear opinions or possible solutions for this.

3. Keeping ABS but ditching ESP/BAS

Just a question mostly about how far is ESP/BAS integrated with the ECU/TCU.
Would it be possible to eliminate ESP/BAS? is the ESP ecu paired with the rest based on VIN?

... and this just because i have all the components from a parts w202 that had no ESP/BAS or ASR but had ABS.... so theoretically thinking of using ABS module and pump from that car into a C43... just throwing this out there, i did not compare the hardware yet to see if this is even viable or not.

ive fitted a momo 350mm steering wheel to my car and I have the same abs and esp light on I used star to make sure the steering angle sensor was at 0 degrees when fitting steering wheel but lights go out then come back. when I put back original wheel all if fine it must be the size of the steering causing lights. ill get a 380mm sparco wheel see what happens

Hi all ok ive sorted the ABS ESP BAS light problem when fitting a MOMO boss kit.

The problem was the way the boss kit mated to the steering angle sensor ring, the two pins line up ok each side of the centre. But the rest of the ring is not supported buy the boss so it dose not keep the ring seated in the steering angle sensor. So when the steering is turned the sensor is not in proper contact with the ring

I sorted the problem buy modifying the boss kit. What I did was I brought a old W202 steering wheel and cut out the part witch sits on the steering angle sensor ring. I then bolted this part the boss kit notice the 4 support points see pics
