I was just wondering if the newer Renntech airbox for the M113 would fit/work on our cars? The one that looks like this?

Ahh sure, i meant the Air box assembly,

you can fit another tubes from W220 or W230...

what are the part numbers for the tubes? And do they fit in our c43?

Depend of the length of that airbox, looks to me it's from C55/CLK55 isn't..?

i had to use airbox from E55K & SLK55 with S430/SL500 tubes,

can't tell you positively which tubes you should to go with, tell you put the airbox and take the measurement of the tube length & tube Radiator scoop...

I think it's gunna be much easier and cheaper to just try to find the old style renntech box, as I don't want to spend money on buying a part that may or may not fit.

I can't remember exactly, so may be worth a search to dig around, but either the newer box doesn't fit ours because it contacts the hood or our older box hits the hood on the W203/209. Someone had actually tried it and they are not two way compatible.

I don't have any dyno's, but in personally; like the 55K airbox, just a matter of sensation...

I tried airbox from E55K & SLK55 without problems, with a little adjustment, what makes C55/CLK55 airbox not fit,

from which direction will popped the hood...!!

Did you try the factory AMG box from the SLK55 or a Renntech SLK55 box? The E55K boxes are completely different and not applicable here. If you tried the factory box, that may be apples and oranges because the Renntech box is taller to create more volume. I will try to hunt down the thread I mentioned earlier and link to it.

I used 55K airbox around year, they fit brilliant, as well as OEM SLK55,

i don't know about Renn. SLK55 airbox, how well it fit, if it longer than OEM...!!
