What's my C36 worth?
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone can offer any insight as to what a 1997 C36 AMG is worth? 130,000 kms, runs well but needs exterior work. (paint, body etc.)
What do they go for in mint shape?
It is hard to evaluate since there are so few in existence.
I paid 7,000$ CDN.
Cheers

I did. I am not planning on selling it I am purely curious.
Just wondering if anyone else recently purchased one in he past few years and for what amount of $$.
I plan on making the car perfect. I have to paint the hood and front bumper, repair the driver side skirt, and reupholster the head liner.
I enjoy driving the car immensely even with the awful fuel economy. Who buys an AMG for gas mileage anyway right?

In California your C36 may be worth $4300 - $4800 USD. But you're in Canada so the market is not the same. I'm curious why you're asking. If you plan to collect and invest in MB cars begin with 230 SL, 280 SL or 220 SE convertible.
By the way my E55 doesn't get bad mileage. I get 22.8 mpg. Not bad for 5.5 liter 8 cylinder engine eh?

I'm coming from a four cylinder Subaru that took regular. Apple's and oranges I know. I don't plan on collecting I just enjoy this particular era of Mercedes Benz.
By the way, was that a crack at Canadians? Eh?
