Damn! Don't tell the sellers it's one of a kind. That's a steal of a price. I think a red 2000 model is my ultimate, but it's a shame none of them were made for the US (if at all)
It's also optioned out with xenons and rain sensing wipers

jeez that thing is ugly. but it's all correctable, price seems decent if it's in good shape.

Hard to tell, but am I the only one that thinks it looks wavy around the front of the driver's door into the front fender?

Anyone have an unlimited Carfax account that could run the VIN? I agree that the mods look like crap, but I do love the silver over blue and black. I love the blue and black in mine, most people ride with me two or three times before they even notice.

really bad taste in the owner. bottom line. it's really hard to make a w202 look ugly but some people have a knack for ruining cars. watching too many Fast and Furious movies...

yeah I'd probably freak if I had a shot at that car. ONE of a kind 2000 silver with blue/black designo? It's a good thing I'm not REALLY RICH, or I'd be obsessed with buying C36 and C43's.

My unicorn? The single dark green C43 that was built. I think it's in the UK. Probably went to the crusher long ago because of some absurd tax/insurance bill. I get sick thinking about it.

My wife, who isn't a car person at all, fell so much in love with my C43 that we got her one, too. 98 with all available options (self-levelling xenon, rain sensing wiper, etc)

Totally off topic but I cannot understand these "stereo upgrades" so many people have done to C43's. It just blows my mind. I've never heard one that sounded anywhere near as good as the stock system!

if you don't have the optional premium sound system, you can build your own premium system with special components which will sound helluva lot better than factory BOSE
although it feels a bit more luxurious having the factory premium sound in the car

if I recall correctly, all w202's except the pre-update C220 came standard with premium bose sound system. I agree it can't compete with custom built systems costing many thousands of dollars, but so few people do it right. they just throw away the head unit and cut out all the original speakers and replace them with whatever they can afford that fits. all the speakers in my 98 were replaced with total crap pioneer speakers and a crap pioneer head unit. the sound in my stock 99 is way, way, WAY better. meaning a previous owner wasted hundreds of dollars to install all that crap and now I'll have to spend hundreds to return it to factory
