Leaky drain plug???
Anyone have or have had there oil drain plug leak? Mine started leaking on my 98 C43 recently? Check to see if it was tight and it was be still seeping out!

Missing the metal o-ring that you should replace with the filter. The o-ring comes with the new filter.
Had this same issue on a friend's brand new Audi A4 this weekend. Common mistake oil shops make.

Depends on where you get the filter. I had one dealer always tape one on with the filter and another dealer not include it. I ended up buying a large quantity of them from AutohausAZ just to have around and not have to worry about it any more.

The o-rings for the filter come with the filter. The drain plug crush washer does not. This is because Mercedes does not recommend touching the drain plug when doing an oil change, sucking out is the way to go.
