Cold weather package question
It appears that my car has a cold weather package (heated seats, headlight wipers/washers). Not sure why, since it was bought new in Miami Florida, lol.
Anyway, I noticed that when I turn on the headlamps, the headlamp washers go off. I am trying to figure out if it is normal operation or if I have a short or bad ground. The pump does wind down and turn off, but it seems like it goes for too long to be just a "hey you turned your lights on, lets give them a quick wash just incase there is some snow built up on them"
Ive unplugged the washer pump for now till I learn more on this. Any help or input would be great.

Thanks. I went out and found a bad ground near the headlamp, which seems to have fixed it. I figured that it wasn't right, but I wanted to make sure that it wasn't normal operation before I started hunting for a problem that wasn't really there. It's fixed now, but I left the pump for the headlamps unplugged anyway because the nipple for the hose on the divers headlamp is broken, so instead of spraying the headlamp, it just sprays wildly around the engine compartment, lol.
