1999 C43 AMG w/ 42k Miles
Bought from a fellow MB'r and now resides in California. Drove 150 miles on first outing for registration and car ran very well. Completely stock and even has the analog phone. The BOSE stereo sounds very good as does the 4.3 v8.
2nd photo is a trick shot of the other AMG (a wagon)
ps to Bay Area people just drive to Petaluma to register your out of state car (AAA can't do out of state). friendly and fast service.

NOT a collector and I try to drive both each day even though I walk to work. The 1999 w202 is something special and can't get enough of those classic lines.

car is bone stock and riding high. trying to NOT compare it to my other AMG but the ride feels too high and steering not precise enough or tracking sweetly (not wobbly) so euro springs and different pads may help, all agree??
oh, I also get a sonic boom at start-up from the passenger front air vent / ac duct - scared the heck out of me first time it happened
add-on
there is a little hesitation (very little) from hit the gas to engine go

haha, I get a sonic boom from my center vents if I turn my AC off while the engine is running. it's delayed and will happen anywhere from 10 seconds to a couple minutes later. I'm used to it now but it scares my wife so bad she pees.
