1998 C43, 05 Mini Cooper s

Smell of raw gas when running

Every so often I get a smell of raw gas from my 98 C43. Can't find a leak can't pin point the spot seems to be stronger on the drivers side??? Any ideas from the masses???

Common problem on w211 e class...idk if it carries over.

Charcoal filter perhaps? Mine also smells of raw gas when I drive WOT on mountain roads.
