I've heard good things about the KW variant kit. Also H&R has a cup kit that's worth looking into also fully adjustable.

DRBC43AMG has them as may a few others. Hopefully they will chime in shortly. I would also like to get a set some where down the road.

I think winks911 also installed a KW kit, I'm sure if you asked, he'd be willing to give you his input.

We only run KW coilovers on all of our shop and project cars. These are the best riding system you will ever get for any euro car. Money well spent. PM me if you are interested and I will get you a good price.

I have them on "T-Rex" since two years now. Perfect combination and I wouldn't do anything different as the ride is great. The rebound on the shocks is dialed in pretty tight, so that with 18" Monos makes the ride sometimes a bit harsh. On smooth surfaces the ride is nice and firm. I've never got round to working with different shock settings, but that's something I'll be doing very soon before hibernating the beast. Right now I've ordered a new Bosch MAF which should be arriving next week or so. I'm changing my xenon bulbs too as one blew and I prefer changing them both as you can be sure the other one will blow soon. Ordered Osram Xenarc cool blue intense. Said to be good for minimum 3000 hrs of service.

Changed the MAF and fitted the new Xenon bulbs.
At the same time I've modified the rebound setting on the shocks. They were previously set at 5 clicks from full hard both front and rear. I've now dialled in 6 clicks front and 12 clicks rear. I'll see how it feels and report back for KW V2 owners.

I did a quick drive around this evening and wow does she pull like an express train with the new MAF Cancelled all the registered error codes before taking off and after the drive I did a quick check. None registered so I'm happy
The new shock settings has certainly softened the ride, but I need to do some mountain roads to test the overall handling. I'll report back in the next week or so.
New xenons are Osram Cool Blue Intense.

I may try the softest setting just to see as changing the settings is really easy!

I had Koni yellows on my Eclipse back in the day and the fronts were easily adjustable with a knob, but on the back you had to completely remove the strut, compress it all the way, and then turn and listen for clicks. Never want to go back to something like that.

Should be with an Allen key on the top of the piston. If anyone wants install instructions they are listed on KW's website.
Where are the adjustments made? Top of the shock body or on the side?

I just kept the Standard Setting and it was fine for me.
Comfort is not only a matter of soft/hard shocks and springs but also Response time and in this Point the double pipe shock is much better.

Glad you ordered them. I've had the KW v2's on my C55 for years and love them. Much more comfortable than stock and immeasurably better in corners. I got them after driving the CLK 63 Black Series that runs on KW v3's.
