off topic - new car - for my C36/43 forum friends
I haven't frequented this forum for a while now, after selling the C43/55 swap car last year. Since then, a lot has transpired - sold the supercharged S2000, and just picked up its replacement. The link is to my post in my C55 thread. I will probably start a 'build' thread on Rennlist at some point too, but for now, follow the link to see what I got!!
DRBC43AMG, I've been thinking about you - you mentioned a certain connection in the past for the other marque from Stuttgart too! But of course there are plenty of other guys in this forum who I've shared trials and tribulations with in the past, so why not share more now?

Sweet!! Love the color. I have a friend who went from a supercharged S2000 to a 993 Carrera 4S and he has never looked back. Enjoy

Nice choice Saab
Oh yes, I still love the "other" stuff from Stuttgart and still dream of my 964RS. One of the biggest mistakes I made when I sold her. I should have told my divorcing wife "get scre**ed". Well guess that's life. Now if I could get my hands on a 996 GT3RS that would be great, but prices look like they are going for the stratosphere That's probably the last of the non electronically nannied Porsches with a manual too

Well, I suppose for what I paid for my car, I could have gotten into a standard 996 GT3. I hope I don't regret that decision in the future, but someone I don't think I will. My car with the X51 package basically makes the same power as a 996 GT3 and is more than likely a much easier car to live with on the street. But I do have to say that the car seems like a caged animal in the city, barely ever out of third gear, though when the occasion does call for some power, it's but a mere flex of the right foot!
