Vinyl wrapping wood trim
Thinking about vinyl wrapping the wood trim on my c43 to give it a more modern touch on the interior. Right now, thinking either silver/brushed aluminum or piano black. I got a quote for $500 for the whole job by a local guy who is highly reputable. I could attack it myself, but honestly, I don't have the time with work right now, and have no experience vinyl wrapping. I'm curious if anyone else has done this? does it hold up over time? any down sides to it. Thanks for the help and I will post pics if I end up doing it.

The vinyl wrapping are not scratch proof so can be a touch delicate specially in hard wearing areas. I covered the glove compartment lock mechanism and added a satin clear coat varnish over the vinyl.

I've seen a thread where a fella wanted to paint over his burlnut. He had many flame posts about that being a real and EXPENSIVE piece of wood he was ruining. Vinyl can be peeled off.
Make sure your guy knows what to do about that dash piece. It's a bear to get off without removing the dash and very delicate.
