Its the time of the year. Dont forget to grease your wiper assembly.

Or you may be doing it at a car wash to get out of the rain after your wiper starts shuddering and slowing down in a torrential down pour at the worst possible time...

For the new guys it's super easy to clean/re-lube and can save your windshield wiper motor.

Yeah, I was thinking the same the other day... Thanks for the reminder

Here's a video of the wiper assembly removal which is the full wiper job, but at least you can see what needs to be done for greasing.

For sure, we are just starting the rain season here in Oregon so going to be raining for a while.

Funny thing about the wiper is it was working fine until I turned it on high. Then it all went down hill in a hurry. Thankfully it happened close to the car wash were I could get out of the rain to take a look. I just wiped off all the black bad grease with my finger. That got it working good enough to get to the parts store where I could get some supplies. Then I drove back to the car wash again to fix it.. thankfully it wasn't blowing and was able to stay dry.

what are you guys using for wiper blades? I have yet to find some that don't chatter or work very well. I modified some of the rain x single piece pre curved ones but ended up switching back to the metal frames.

Standard Bosch metal frames with rain-x on the screen. Works fine for me.

SWF blades are the best and original for our cars
