She's Baaaaack!
Got her back in mid-September. Been working on her since to work out the kinks (brakes are wonky - combination of surface rust and warped rotors methinks). Did an oil change but still need to do trans and diff fluid changes!
Attached are before and after.
Edit: Stealership quoted me over $11k for full restore. I did it with about $6,800 parts/labor/towing.
Edit 2: I also took the last C43 bumper in the US/North America. Good luck, fellas!

Love the look of fresh paint. She's looking good. Can't wait to see some pictures in better conditions. Glad you didn't just write it off.

I had a rough time with the shop (a 50-hour job dragged out into 8 months ).
I don't have too many pics of fresh paint because wheels are pitted and whatnot - want to throw a new set of wheels on and detail her really well before I take real photos.

I totaled her in a head-on in January (unplowed road going downhill; red light with traffic stopped at the bottom; brakes crunched up, so I went into oncoming (best option at the time)). it's a cool looking mod and the car looks even more brutalish!
I had this mod done last year however the wiper arm has trouble to stay in mid position when you turn the wiper off beacuse arm is to heavy.
then the bolt that holds the arm in place comes loose from the forces of wiping from side to side.
when it starts raining your wiper arm is fukked, you can't drive the car!
i had to tell my mechanic to put it back in place to original position.
if you can custom make a strong but lightweight arm ala DTM cars do the DTM mod, if you can't make the custom arm it's a big NO NO!

Nice to see her saved and back on the road. Now, keep away from winter...

Looks great! I love seeing that you saved her from the chopping block. Are those real 63 wheels, I wouldn't mind a set if I could find some? can't wait to see more pics!
