Every car ever made is a pile of steel, aluminum, and rubber(and sometimes other jazz). Every one of em. Some, are more special then others, usually because they are more fun to drive.
Those, we can conclude that not driving a fun car into the ground is actually a disservice to that car, and why I'd never own something like a ZL1 Camaro or Boss 429 Mustang. They are basically just automotive art, not cars.
Me? I'm getting a 05/06 C55 or GTO, hopefully with ~20k miles, and will drive it day in, day out. Life's too short to drive boring.

In regards to the pile of metal, etc, that is more true on a mass market car. There are a fixed, relatively low quantity of C43's in the world (one less based on a post I just saw). Less than 1500 in the United States. When you start to get into limited quantities, that is what makes them special, at least to most of us in this forum.
