Rear Spring Remover and Replace

I bought a telescopic spring compressor and I was able to replace the springs on the front of my C43 easily. The rear is a different story. Aside from it was hard to compress, the tool broke. I was wondering if the telescopic tool would really work on the rear. Do you guys have any instructions on how to replace the rear coil springs? I contacted the guy where I bought my spring compressors and see if he could warranty it. But any help from you guys would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks!

Use the appropriate spring compressor tool will avoid hassles and most important serious injury. The force in a compressed spring is like a bomb ready to explode. The rears can be removed and replaced without a compressor. After having placed the vehicle on floor jacks, you just need to place a hydraulic jack under the wishbone, remove the bolt and gently bring the jack down. Your wishbone will separate from the hub and the spring can be carefully removed.

Thanks. What about installation? How do you reinstall the rear spring using the wishbone technique? Will I no get a hard time putting in a lowering spring?

You should be able to do it. A bit fiddly but I'm sure you can do it, just take your time.
