your car is quite light, but one of the main reasons is that it looks like you dont have a sunroof? thats probabaly 40kg weight savings.

my car is about 1542 kg without me in it but with fuel.
with me in it it was 1610 kg and ive had it weighted a few times on a flat scale.

so the sunroof is most of thw weight savings, maybe the engine swap is a couple kgs?? other than that im trying to think of other options that might be making yours lighter? did you have the spare tire in the trunk? i usually leave mine in just to try and keep the car closer to 50/50.

this was without me in the car. im also around 100-110kgs.
but with the spare and about a half tank of fuel.

we go to the ring coming friday.. unfortunatly without my AMG since i got cuurently no engine in it.

I recently took the sunroof out of a 208 clk should be pretty similar, felt around 15-20kg,will weigh it next time I'm by!.

Stock AMG 17" monos are 12.5kg. I think he has some savings of at least 13kg over these + the lighter tires

I like the normal w202 front bumber with splitter. It looks much better than the standard 43 item (and cheaper of course...)!

Looking forward to a report with pictures when you return

I love the fact that there are two 5.4l swapped c43s in this thread and they are pretty damn rare colors and are tracked regularly

This is why most of us hang around these forums

Hi a really good trip at the ring this year the car felt much better as I was a minute quicker than last year. The only this I might of done was to fit some better brake pads as the factory ones I had caused brake judder but I always had brakes.

Have you seen this thread https://mbworld.org/forums/c36-amg-c...rque-arms.html and it's worth checking out that your vehicle hasn't suffered the same problem as our Aussie friend. It's also nice to know that a upgraded solution exists.

Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 vs Michelin pilot sport cup

Hi all

Just fitted the new Michelin cup 2 tyre to my car ready for a track day in a few weeks. First impressions is the cup 2 are miles better in the wet than the cups I was on a motorway run yesterday the cap 2 make the car feel proper planted and turn in is amazing. Cant wait to try them on track
