Need new cv halfshaft
Hi all,
Hoping someone can help. My cv joint on the left rear went bad and is making quite a racket . I've searched high and low looking for a good place to find a new halfshaft (or even a reman.) for my '95 C36 with no luck. Stealership will probably want a few hundred.. Any tips?
Some places list non-traction control halfshafts for the C36, but ASR on the C36 would be considered traction control yes? Probably a dumb question but the drivetrain on this will be relatively new DIY territory for me..

I am having trouble locating a DIY for a W202 cv halfshaft replacement however. I've done halfshafts on a couple old porsches (which were pretty straight forward) but the C36 looks a bit more involved as it seems the shafts connect from inside the diff requiring the back cover to be removed, is this the case? Any tips?? Thanks again for the help
