95 C36 drive train
Hi all
Just gauging interest to see if it worth it for me to part out my 95 C36. The engine is all original with 58k miles. Wondering how much would the engine and tranny worth?

AMG M104 Engine
I've worn out the engine in my G-Wagon and am interested in replacing the short block with the AMG 3.6L engine. I sent you an email to follow-up.

Sounds awesome! And an undertaking. Please if you do the swap post up a tread. I do have to agree with Sulaco. But not so much because your starting with a rare AMG. That's nice because it already has the nicer body kit, brakes, interior ect.... But rather because your starting with an inline engine. You might should look into steering box/steering shaft clearance, exhaust routing ect.. Might need to pick up a w202 v6 donor for some parts. For sure the case with a BMW. Going from a m50 2.8 to a m60 4.4 they had to completely redesign/relocate the brake booster in the E34

Find a screwed up 1998-2000 C280 and you're golden. Everything SHOULD be where it needs for an LSx swap. Or better yet, a member here has a european imported C43 that can't be titled in his state (NC).
I want to see a fire-breathing american V8 powered w202 just as bad as the next guy, but I don't want to see a C36 sacrificed for it.

Parting Out C36 AMG
I found and purchased a donor car for the 3.6L AMG engine. Until I'm done, I'm also keeping the wiring harness and ECU, although plan to re-use and modify what I've already got. I'm parting out everything else!
I've already sold the exhaust muffler.
The transmission works fine and the interior is in shocking excellent shape. Everything is first-come-first-served.
