CLK55/ML55 front sway bar swap
Just checking on this, I've seen a couple of threads that mention it's possible, but no one's actually made a post of a successful swap, parts needed, process, steps, etc.
Has anyone done this? Pics? Etc.?
Thanks!

Does anyone know if it's just as simple as swapping bars and using the bushings for the thicker bar? Can you use the same end links, or do you need the 55 end links?

If you do not have C43 than yes only inners need to be changed, outer bush is same.
If you have a C43 the swaybar setup identical in every aspect to CLK55 so why change?

ML55 is totally different, will not work. clk is the same. A sway bar is a tuning tool for handling characteristics, a thicker one in front will make the front want to push more. springs are a better way to control the roll if that's what you're attempting.

Friend had a ml sway bar on his w202.
It is possible but requieres modification.
Not sure how much of a difference it made. He ran 19s and was really low. He claimed it eliminated a lot of body roll....

If you can get your hands on a ml sway bar, lift the car and compare then it should be obvious what needs to be done
From what i remember it requieres the swaybar mounts to be cut off and rewelded in a different place. Not sure if id wanna *** with that kinda stuff
