Primary Cats Moved Down
Any advice/input if it's a good idea to move the primary cats down to the bottom where the secondary cats are/were? My cats have never been replaced so I want to get better flow cats and have them moved down.
Will this give better performance?
Any pros and cons doing this?
Oxygen sensors will also be moved if need be.
Suggestions on high flow cats?
Thanks for any input.

Moving the primary cats further down the line will make the heat up more difficult when cold starting. Could also cause problems with O2 sensors.

Thanks for the info. Other than the heat up and maybe O2 sensors not working. Will it let the engine stay cooler bringing the cats down? And maybe give a little performance?

It probably may help reduce the under hood temps a bit, but you will increase heat around your ankles when you get out of the vehicle. Also when driving hard, remember the manifolds can get cherry red, so the heat is plenty there...
