Control Arm Bushings

Has anyone used the adjustable control arm bushings from ECS Tuning ?
They are very inexpensive compared to KMacs.

Lookup Hedgehog Tuning and Motorsport (also on Facebook). They have excellent quality suspension bushes, I've been using them for a while. Much happier with these than the Kmac bushes. The front control arm bushes aren't adjustable without removing the control arm but in 90% of cases you know you want all the extra camber and just set and forget about it anyway.

K-MAC PRODUCT BACKGROUND AND ALTERNATIVES


K-MAC has been manufacturing Camber, Caster, Toe adjuster kits longer than anyone else, with World's largest range Audi to Volvo.

The W202 Mercedes has only Front and Rear Toe adjustment. No Camber or Caster to resolve costly, premature inner edge tirewear, steering pull or improve traction.

The result of curb knock damage, altering suspension height, load carrying or fitting wide profile tires, wheels.

At K-MAC we do not manufacture adjustable rear control arms because (to reduce premature inner edge tire wear) these upper arms besides lack of easy access - must move top of tire outwards reducing all important clearance top of tire to outer fender.

Instead with K-MAC only a single wrench is required - to adjust the lower control arm inner bushes. With the advantage of moving “bottom of tires inwards” for Camber. The patented design allows fast, accurate adjustment (under load directon alignment rack). While installation of the bushings is done on car - No need for suspension arm removal. This rear kit (P/N 502026 H) also includes extra Toe adjustment to compensate for the new Camber facility.

For the front a similar adjustment system for Camber and Caster (P/N 502016 J).

This front kit also replaces at the same time the 4 highest wearing suspension bushes. With the unique K-MAC design “2 axis” bushings also improving brake and steering response!

To stay at the forefront we fund and have an extensive/ongoing Research and Development programme to allow constant upgrading, improvement of our wheel alignment products.

This “not sitting on the fence” (change, new ideas creates controversy) - but instead constantly inventing, designing new adjustment systems where none existed before has led - despite the controversy - to having more patents and patents pending on innovative design break throughs than all other similar manufacturers combined.

K-MAC amongst many others the actual inventors of:

The above “Single Wrench” bush adjustment system - Revolutionizing the industry by no more labour intensive disassembly required each time to change alignment setting. Simply carried out fast/accurate on car.

“All positional” Top Strut adjusters - providing the biggest (and quickest) strut adjustment system.

“Sliding Ball Joint” - Another design breakthrough providing sufficient adjustment for the 1st. time for wishbone suspensions.

Adjustment for 2 bolt flange struts without the need to fit undersize crank bolts (and with twice the adjustment range)!

Adjustment system where there is no need to remove struts to adjust - on the latest generation vehicles that have no strut top securing bolts (or have minimal strut top access).

I have the k mac bushes on the front of my car and think they are great I want to get the rear kit soon
