C43 Airbox PITA install

Can't seem to get the stock Airbox fully seated onto the MAF. Any suggestions?

Does the box sit properly on the mounts and is still not flush with the maf or are you having a problem pressing the box onto the four mounts?

Make sure your mounting tabs aren't a little bent.

Whenever I get the back of the intake on the MAF, soon as I push down the front into the tabs, rear pops off the MAF. Nothing is bent. Very frustrating

I think your ring shaped support that wraps around the maf housing and grabs onto the engine might be broken

Yeah, in some cases; during pressing airbox hardly, MAF clip or MAF elbow clip (that attaches to the TB) could broken,

prefer to remove & check everything related to the upper & lower MAF clipes..

Nothing looks broken and the MAF is securely in place

Good,

do you check if "4" small rubbers (in the head covers) set properly..?

Sure enough, driver side rear was bent. Straightened it out and fixed!

They should to be "4", and check the airbox clips (that holds to those rubbers), not moves or turns..!!
