when you stripped your 4 doors for less weight, did you see if you maybe have 4 separate alarm sensors installed in the 4 doors to trigger the factory alarm system if a break in occurs?
if a buglar breaks any of the 4 doors (not breaking glass setting off cabin motion sensors) and opens the door, do alarm set off if you have alarm sensors installed in the 4 doors?

Don't know about doors, but the rear l'idée if not closed properly will set off the alarm after some time. It happened once to me and I wondered which vehicle was making all the rumpus until I checked and saw it was mine...

if your alarm is activated you can test the alarm by pulling out the boot switch
you have B-pillar motion sensors
you also have the pop the hood alarm switch
