722.4 Transmission Fluid?

I've searched at nausea through the threads on here for '96 C36 compatible transmission fluids with no luck, so I asked Fupabox on youtube about which transmission fluid to put in my '96 C36 and he so kindly gave me the link to fact sheet 234.14 and noticed some possible readily available US makers, but the link changed 2 days later so now it shows all these crazy hard to get transmission fluids. If I would have known the links change (and I asked him about this he says it happens often) I would have written the couple down that seemed most likely available, but i forget what they were. In short...What have you guys used for Transmission fluid for your 4 speed C36s?

Any dextron III fluid is compatible with a 722.4. You can use the newer spec 234.14 fluid if you like but it is more expensive and I wouldn't suggest it unless you had a very low mileage vehicle.

I thought I read somewhere you shouldn't use a synthetic ATF for this engine or is that out dated info?
