DIY Video For Water Pump?
I searched but I can't find a video that shows how to replace the water pump.
Mines about to go out as the pulley is wiggling. Any help is really appreciated it.
Btw, anyone here done this job, is it hard?

it's not that hard. I have done it on two C43's, from memory:
remove hoses
remove fan shroud
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND REMOVING RADIATOR, because M113 in the w202 chassis leaves very little room. you run the risk of poking holes in your radiator if you leave it in.
remove mechanical fan and fan clutch.
remove serpentine belt
disconnect tiny cooling hose going to oil cooler on right side of pump.
I'm hazy on this, but I think you also need to remove top bolt holding alternator in place and loosen the bottom one so you can rotate the alternator down and out of the way. I could be wrong on this.
remove pump. thoroughly scrub and clean the area it came from.
seat new gasket into the ridge in the engine block, be careful not to move it while installing new pump!
put the thin gasket on the back of the new pump, thread some bolts through to hold it in place while you're carefully placing it. you have to be sure both gaskets are lining up properly or you WILL have leaks and have to do this job over from scratch again.
I can't stress this enough: USE A TORQUE WRENCH. this is an aluminum block. these bolts need a precise amount of torque. if you don't torque them enough, it leaks. if you torque them the tiniest bit too much, YOU STRIP OUT THE THREADS IN THE HOLE (and not the threads on the bolt!), which creates an absolute nightmare scenario.

Sulaco, thank you too! I'm glad to hear someone saying "it's not that hard."
I'm going to buy those two tools that are neede to remove the fan....
I will be sure to remove the radiator.

I know you weren't asking me but I didn't torque at all to the oem specs.
No leaks no problems at all, just don't use a big wrench when tighten the bolts. I used a 3/8 but small handle. And like sulaco said, not only does he recommend to remove the radiator, but you have to pull it out. There's a bolt from a pulley that's really long, won't come out unless radiator is out.
Not a hard job, as long as you have the right tools and the know how. Thanks to everyone that helped out!
