Gm Custom Air Box

From what I have read and have experienced myself you will gain performance. I've owned two C43's and this one with my air box is fast!
Read this review on the Renntech air box to see how a modified air box as HP and torque.

https://mbworld.org/forums/clk55-amg...ed-review.html

My custom air box will look like factory but perform much better!

- You will be able to use your current air filters like normal. I do not modify the filter housing.

- Does not get as hot as stock.

- Better throttle response.

- Better gas mileage as it breathes easier.

- The sides and back part of the box are taller. The back part is important because it allows the engine to breathe much better, stock is so low.

- From the pictures I've seen in the web, my air box is taller than the Renntech air box.

- The inside will also get worked on. The plastic square baffles will be taken off and smoothed out for better air flow.

Price will be $450.00 shipped. I'm willing to ship outside the USA if you pay for shipping, maybe Extra $20.00. This price includes the complete air box.

Any questions feel free to ask.
Thanks

This sounds awesome & at a fraction of the cost of a Renntech. Post some pics when everything is completed

So funny you are posting this now. I just took off my air intake cover to check the air filters and noticed everything you said which affects airflow - There is an incredible amount of baffles and the lowest part of the intake is right where it sits on top the throttle body!

It would be nice to see a working prototype.

I would be interested as well. I am not sure I would want to lose my stock airbox though

I'm buying an air box tomorrow so you won't need to be without yours. And once you receive it you can send yours to me IF you want and I can buy it from you.

Guys, wanted to let you know my background in doing business in the Internet. This way you have some knowledge that I can be trusted. Around 2001 or so I took a product that was made for the coolest pocket pc at the time and modified it.

I did just one for a guy in a forum and he received it and reviewed it. Than another guy from a pocket pc site bought and reviewed it too. But this time hundreds of people viewed the review and in 3-4 days I had many orders.

Anyway I just wanted to share so you know you are dealing with an honest person and I do my best to do a great job. Below are some links from reviewers at the time. There where many more reviews but they faded out. The name of the product was Silver Slider and it was one of a kind. Hope you guys like my modified air box when it's finished.

Thanks for reading.

Looking good I like how you removed all of the baffles & made it completely smooth. 4 inches?! Holy smokes. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed product; keep up the good work!

Glad you posted as I was waiting for your price. I did find one for $120.00 shipped so I'm just going with that. But thanks ok.

Great. I ordered another air box today so by next Friday I should have one for sale. I did a lot today, so tomorrow it will be finished and I will post pictures.

I am very happy how this came out, way better than imagined.
