Long shot question, 55 swapped E430 lean issue
Here we go, I have an 01 W210 E430 which has the 5.5 M113 from an W210 E55. I've had the ECU flashed to the W210 E55 stock tune as well.
Threw a wideband on to check AFR pre-cat and the car threw a Check Engine light due to the missing pre-cat O2 sensor. This should throw the car into open loop.
With the car in open loop, my AFR are 15 under idle and I struggle to get anything under 15 under any loading.
All sensors are good, MAF / MAP are both functioning properly. Fuel pressure stays at 60 psi (at rail) always.
I've been thinking of unplugging the Air Pump and maybe mess with EGR as well?
I'm currently stuck and trying to band-aid something so that I'm no running so lean. Even thought of bumping up the voltage of the MAF so that the ECU thinks more air is coming in.
Any suggestions guys? I know the C43 guys usually do the 55 swap so thought I ask!
Thanks

stock 430 has much smaller injectors I think, i doubt it would have ever mapped on its own
maybe the problem is related?
mechanically the motors are identical, so I can't imagine it being anything else. can the 430 ECU even be flashed to 55?

Iz Nikšića sam. Odakle si ti?
My friend has a C 43 and he has a 5.5 swap as well. I want to throw a wideband on his car just to see what AFR he's getting. I assume some of the c43 guys on the forums already have a wideband on their car?

Injectors are off the 5.5 AMG engine. Yes the ECU is flashable, I have ME2.8.
Next step is weld in a bung next to the pre-cat O2 sensor and then track fuel trims as well.
Or pay a shop to do everything for me hah

60 psi should be base pressure then fuel pressure increase under load should keep pressure at 60 psi. The 65psi was at idle and making the map think vacuum on vacuum line.
Trying to rule out everything mechanically. Need to weld in an O2 bung so car is running in closed-loop and I can track AFR.

Quick update after a long time. I decided to have Kleemann flash my ECU and it turns out that Eurocharged gave me the wrong 5.5 AMG stock map. The map they gave me was for the SLK55 which has a compression ratio of 10.5:1 (along with other differences) while the W210 E55 has a compression ratio of 10:1.
I verified AFR with the wideband and everything is spot on! Learned my lesson and now I know who to visit for Mercedes tuning!

did you complaint to Eurocharged they flashing your ECU with the wrong data?
with the wrong data how did your car act when you were driving?
did it go like crap or what?

Car would not run anything below 15:1 and it felt lethargic. Not much else to say and that's the only unique thing about my car that made it run lean. I had the opportunity to do the Kleemann tune over the summer so I decided to go for it. Both Brendan and Cory are great guys to hang out with!

How old is the MAF? My car ran very lean with a MAF that tested fine but was no good. Put a new one on and car ran like night and day!
