some c36 200xxx mile engine overall and... misfire cylinder 1

Started experiencing some random rough idling...and a couple times some false starts...so started snooping under the hood. Found some cracked hoses, very dry rubber, and so began a bit of a component over haul.

I got my hands on 6 brand new (correct) fuel injectors (holy $***), new spark plugs, cleaned the air intake, replaced various cracked hoses etc. Everything but coil packs...

Swapped the fuel injectors, replaced the spark plugs, car ran great for the weekend.

On Sunday I had a heavy foot from a red light, and there goes a misfire.

Code I am getting is - P0301 - so misfire on cylinder 1. I have swapped injectors around, moved spark plugs around. Clear codes, and again P0301.

So, must be electrical or air leak...anybody ever experienced problems like this and find a not so obvious, or maybe tooo obvious, solution?
