found the options code, it's 231 for europe and 232 for American market

I have another question for homelink mirror?
did anyone take a mirror apart gutting it?
to see what it looks like inside?

how is the homelink garage door opener connected inside shell case?
does homelink take power from autodim wireloom?

I have a european homelink mirror options code 231 which has a defective bronze tinted mirror.
I recently bought a used RVM from Fredtga, this was the US version homelink options code 232.
my idea is to use Fredtga's complete RVM coz it's in better shape, only modification I will do is to swap garage door transmitter from my european RVM and put it in Fredtga's RVM.
do I have to de-solder any loom to remove the transmitter?

thanks

12' W204 C63 AMG coupe "T-Rex", 12' W451 Smart Fortwo Pulse (99' W202 C43 AMG sold)
I use a key and some muscle power to open and close my garage door. I could install an electric motor and remote controller if my muscles gave up.

I'm lazy, I want a comfort zone by pressing a rubber knob without getting a sweat!
