Dodgy thermostat
Well since I changed my duo-valve in the cooling circuit, I noticed that the engine was running a bit cooler (heat gauge) than before. Now as morning temperatures are much cooler, I've noticed that the engine needs a lot more time to reach the normal operating temperature. I guess the thermostat needs to be changed.
Before I look into more detail on how to do this, I wanted to know if changing the thermostat a simple operation, or does this require a radiator removal job, as space in front of the block is rather limited. If this îs the case I would also change the water pump and the same time. In any case this would be done over the winter months when "T-Rex" is in hibernation.
Comments anyone?
