And do you sell the intake pipes seperatly as you mentioned in a post couple of days ago?

I am trying to get the car back to it's former glory and want to really see how it runs as I've only driven it once. I mentinoed when I first joined I got the car for $2800, which is a steal.

I still am interested I just want to see if you have the pipes to sell seperalty.
$2800 is a great deal! I paid $3300 with 106K miles. I can ship everything mon-Tuesday as I will need to sand and paint the engine cover and air tubes. It's freezing in Chicago right now so have to let things dry really well before packaging.

I did offer you the tubes by themselves yes but you didn't respond to my offer. So I thought about making this real cool package deal for whoever would be interested. Than I figure I make you another offer, but this time for the whole thing. You will get a box with all that stuff I mentioned above. You install on your car and have a super cool oem look. And of course more power ready when you want it.

Let te me know what you like to do about this offer to you.

And Hayden, thanks for the good words!

buddy, that's a huuuuuuuge difference VS stock airbox!
looks very nice.
try to breathe through a small diameter straw after you've been running, same crap for our cars!
it's heavy breathing

my only concern wuud be, how the filler bondo material will hold up in cold temperature climates like where I live VS hot engine temps in summer when I drive my car like a car thief?
wudd any filler meltdown occur?

Come on Kowalski, the products used today in the car industry resist at all normal temperatures. The airbox is not going to fall to pieces.

Hey man think positif 😎

i also foggot to mention about plastics detoriating in arctic cold where I live?
what about dat?
it's not only the massive heat felt in the tight engine bay on a hot summer day that may cause issues it's also the icy cold weather during winter when I have my car stored in a non heated garage for 6 months?
wudd this cause issues with filler materials cracking on airbox?

It's eazy to spend the money on upgrades, but do upgrade parts like airbox hold their build quality in variable climate conditions?

how many of you drive your car all year season?
did you check the airbox in winter and summer if you have encountered any issues with failing plastics filler?
I'm sorry but I have to ask these Q's before I place an order

When I started this I used different materials. I do not use the BRAND BONDO. I used a much better quality brand. And I welded plastic to plastic and the filler is used to make it look smooth and nice so you don't see the weld or any other imperfections.

Now for any air boxes, I use a u-pol brand filler. This stuff is more expensive but well worth it. And the boxes are made by 90% abs plastic and the filler is use for cosmetic purposes.

And Im only making the C43 air boxes by request only. I do have one for sale though if anyone wants it.

Dennis we talked in PM about this already. I even told you I don't ship outside the USA anymore. So why ask these questions again, you know you are not going to purchase one. Don't waste people's time please.

we are still curious about the outcome of different weather climates if anyone had encountered any issues?
if no issues that's a quality testament to you!

how do you know if i wanted buy one or not, I was waiting for feedback from others?
it doesn't really matter now as you don't ship overseas anymore

i will ship but I can't warrant the product. I do my best to make them good. But I'm just one guy and selling the box at such a low price how can I warrant and even make a good profit. At $1,200.00 I will warranty it day n knight.

Hey Dennis,

why worry my friend,

as you know; the main damn pointless of our "M113's" is "poor air inlet "..!,

your Experiment is more sharpness than ours..,

from first time; when i saw Geo.'s air box, can't resist the Fabulous job he doing, with much air flow/smoother surface & great/fair price comparing to ($1500) "Renntech" one..!?!?!,

we need more air, rather than cosmetic touch..!!,,

he also, take care about the height against hood for "M113's W202/W208/W210", smart move that is..

i believe; "Daniel & Hayden" are enough & great prove..

hey Zayed.

I don't question Geo's work, I bet it's an outstanding craftmanship
my only concern is that if filler materials Geo used to fabricate airbox being or NOT being sensitive to massive heat by melting or breaking in cold climate?
If one goes down then the other comes after detoriating

That's why I asked for feedback from people who drives their car all year round for possible issues?

Massive engine heat is a huge problem on our cars, in summer even worse!

I don't drive my car in winter, cold temperatures in my garage might cause plastic to break from cold?????

The Q is?
Who has owned his modded airbox long enuff time and been driving his car in various climate conditions during winter and summer then doing a check up around airbox plastics, this means airbox has to come off from the engine for an inspection for possible issues?

Hopefully there are no issues and everything is peaches!

Understood your point Dennis,

can't assure that, we living in Randomly climates..!, that's a differ thing..!,

in my case; whatever the consequences, i will accept it..,,

*i might be wrong; but work with brain before hand is my GOAL always, what ever the Results, this is my own opinion..

I assume all reputable car manufacturers and parts suppliers do plenty of extreme weather trials: from the freezing up in the Arctic to the heat of the Australian deserts. Guess that's sufficient proof.

My Geo enlarged air-box has now done a complete summer with some roasting days thrown in. No problem and still looks new like when it arrived...

That's testament to the quality of the manufacturing. Thanks again George

Speed43 is the man

Hey guys, speed43 sent me the oem intake snorkels and tubes. Very good to deal with.
Honest, trustworthy, and when I do eventually get this bad boy running like a top, I won't hesitate for a second to get the customized air box off him too.

just thought I'd let everyone know.
