Up for sale is one of my C43 modded air boxes and the elbow. With the air box you will get 10HP and 10 pounds of torque. This has been proved by a dyno. Add the elbow and throttle response will be awesome.


About the air box:

- It's lifted for more air volume.
- The inside is gutted, I remove the plastic fins for better air flow.
- No bondo used
- Heat Deflection ABS plastic used to raise up


About the plastic elbow:

- OEM part but modded
- Plastic fins removed for better air flow
- Openings get ported/sanded to match the rubber gaskets. This also lets air flow come in smooth to the throttle body

if you mean the mesh inside the air box opening no. It has to be removed for the modification. You will be fine and better air flow without it. And yeah if no one else contacts me to buy it it's yours. I can't promise you know what I mean. What if you change your mind.... if you want it for sure I can take a down payment with Paypal than its 100% on hold for just you. I have a customer doing this with half down and I'm making him his clk air box.

without mesh preventing larger items like malicious aliens entering MAF and engine are airfilters going to protect the engine from debrise and other crap?

your maf already has the honey comb screen and most also have another silver mesh inside. Mercedes don't want you to hear the rush of air coming in so they load the engine with bunch of restriction. You also have the air filters before the air box sceeen.

There are MANY air boxes and maf without all these screens and cars are just fine.
