Hey Zayed,
If you sit there it will be very windy
I cannot decide to stay with Lumma or go C36, I want something in between..

pics from track day a few weeks ago, i switched to running the stock wheels in front halway through the event to give my bridgestone RE-11s a break, the fronts take a beating.

did you put the wrong caliper/piston on left hub and the wrong caliper on the other side?
switching places on calipers?
how do you like your braking so far with the new front kit?
to bad your cool rims don't have bigger holes to show off your calipers

The breaks were definitely a much needed upgrade!
For the moment, I have my 17" SLK AMG wheels on it, and they barely fit! It looks like someone stuffed a Laser Disc in there! lol
I will wait till I get a power bleeder to swap the plates though. I'm done with the old fashioned way, haha.

Yes, I did swap the calipers side to side. I know that the leading piston is wrong, but I (and others who have done this) have not had any issues with it when it comes to daily driving. If I start to notice any problems, or I start autocross with it, I will switch the piston plates.

If I end up having any issues (or have a day where my ADHD kicks in and I need a project to occupy me) then I will swap the piston plates to the correct position.
The brakes are definitely an improvement over the stock brakes, they bite nicely. However I do wish I had a bit firmer pedal, but I may just need to bleed them again. My wife was helping me and I think she may have taken her foot off a couple times too early. So when the power bleeder arrives, I will flush the whole system.

The front and rear sides of the caliper, where the pistons are housed. They can be dismantled and swapped over to the opposite side of the car, thus putting the pistons in the correct position.

c36 brake cylinder is not made for newer brakes

To clarify though, my pedal is not soft and squishy. It feel about right, I just prefer a firmer pedal, thats all. The pressure itself feels about the same as before the swap, and the car stops better now than it did before. I'm just being ****, thats all.

The volume of the c36 calipers VS the c32 calipers won't be that different as they are both 4 piston calipers. If I had gone from 1 or 2 pistons to 4, then the master cal would be a must. But in this case, since the caliper volume itself isn't that much different (its really just bigger rotors) then the current master should be ok. However, after I bleed everything, if the pedal doesn't feel as firm as I want, I will consider it.

You take both plates off of one side of the car and swap them to the other side of the car. This puts the pistons in the correct order and leaves the bleeder screw in the upright position.

Yes it does. A special fitting would have to be made. SuperB did this with his C32 brakes.
