Very nice JP. I felt like such a dope because it took me like a minute to figure out the last pic lol.
I really like how you took your time with it and did it right. She looks absolutely brilliant .

Thank you everyone! I should be finished tonight with the interior. I truly cannot wait to take delivery. On a separate note, I am happy I did not get the cross spoke wheels. These rims are SUPER easy to clean.

I chose Iridium over Polar/Diamond White due to Iridium being a understated color. I know a lot of people will do the "White & Black" theme. No offense to those who ordered that but I wanted to be different. Plus, I forgot how easy Silver is to maintain.

Speaking of getting pictures, how did you get the black plastic trim on the B-Pillar so perfect?

Did you buff it?

Looks freaking awesome....

It's detail **** LOL

It was a PAIN to get them so clean. Yes, I used a 3" Machine with the SF 400 and then finished it with a SG 4000. I kept making sure the plastic did not to hot so I would not burn it. I may clear bra those as well.

I am installing the clear bra first. It is easier since there is no stone chips ect on the car.

Yes. I am putting a bra on the following: Front Bumper, A Wing, Full Hood, Both Fender, Mirror Caps, & Rocker Panels to protect the black inlay.

Consider getting a bra for the headlights too! That soft plastic gets pitted so easily.

After 5 years the clear bra on my C300 was pretty trashed, but the paint underneath was absolutely perfect when I replaced it. My big regret was that I didn't do the headlights. They're looking pretty tired now.

I thought about that as well.

Gotta admire your patience. I would die if I had a new car sitting at the dealer waiting for clear bra.

Haha! It's hard but worth the wait. It's worse that I work for a dealership.

Currently Looking
JP, that is quite the process there. Thanks for sharing. I'm madly in love with Polar White but this color is a very close second. I love the night trim with the pano roof.

JP what do you think about this

http://cqfinest.com/faq.html

why these expensive cars don't come properly protected is beyond me... or at least have factory options for these (special coating, clear bra, etc)

Thank you! Yes, Polar is sharp as well. I just knew that Iridium would be less popular so I wanted to be different. The car looks hot in EVERY color even Dakota Brown!

I have heard about that product. I haven't tried it. The Merzerna products are fantastic but do require patience when using them.

Here is a small mod but yet can change the entire look of the backend. I had painted the chrome strip along the trunk to match the car. Eventually, all of the lettering/trunk star will be gloss black. I did not go with gloss black because it was too drastic for my liking. All of the work was done by iND. Thoughts?
