MB Arrowhead in Peoria, AZ. This was much lower than the "deal" I was offered at another MB dealer in the Phoenix area as well. Being well informed on current lease rates and being willing to walk away helped quite a bit. There really wasn't too much negotiating. I told them a number I was comfortable with and said to call me in the next hour if they could make that happen as I was meeting my wife for lunch and heading to BMW that afternoon. I feel good with the deal and love the car.

Was this C43 in stock or did you have it ordered?

Thoughts on this deal?

Hey all,

I am thinking about the following vehicle at the following rate:

2017 C43
Black, with black MB-Tex with red stitching
Natural Grain Black Ash
Premium 3 pkg
Red seat belts
Wheel locks
Panorama Roof
Night pkg
19" AMG 5-Spoke with black accents

MSRP $59,755, sale price $54,344; ~9% off MSRP
10,000/yr; 36 months; $3,500 down total (includes 1st month, fees, etc)
60% residual
Assuming the MF is about 0.00121 (according to LeaseHackr)
611.66/month (using autopay)

I have shopped around quite a bit for this kind of equipped C43... and this is by far the best deal I have received. One dealer told me the very best they can do is $1,500 off MSRP...

What do you think?

I drove the car twice and have been SO impressed. It is just glued to the road and the power is addictive.

Question for the Canadians here. I'm from Toronto, has anyone had any luck scoring a lease deal with a local MB dealership? If so, any details would be really helpful. Thanks!

I cross-shopped about 4 dealerships in the GTA before getting the deal I wanted on my C43C - MB Brampton, MB Mississauga, MB Thornhill, and MB Midtown.

I currently have another vehicle from MB Mississauga as well, but they weren't able to get me the deal I wanted so I ended up going with MB Thornhill instead. Be very careful about going to the corporate owned dealerships in the GTA (which is pretty much most of them) because they are very hesitant on working with you if you are working with someone else in their dealer network. That being said, if you get stuck with an SA that is more concerned about how much profit they can make rather than getting you in the car, then it's not fair to have you locked in to them. My SA at MB Thornhill realized that and really helped me swing a good deal with his sales manager.

I hit about 5% off MSRP between straight discount and added bonuses like floor mats, etc. This isn't including a loyalty interest rate reduction or a fleet discount. Mark-up on this car is about 8%. Honestly, a lot of dealerships weren't willing to go above 2% when I was negotiating in September - I took delivery in October. You may have more negotiating power at this point given that I was purchasing a car that hadn't even been released in the Canadian market at that point. Good luck bud. Let me know if you want me to connect you with my SA. He was shameless in bugging his boss to get me the deal I wanted lol.

I'm in Ottawa...

C43 Brilliant Blue
Grey Leather
Ash wood trim
Active LED
AMG Driver's package (exhaust and stuff)
Active LED
Lease Protection

I think that is it and I am 900 on the road, 2K upfront. Loyalty bonus and 18k a year, 39 months. Plus they are taking back my C400 with 4 payments left...

Dang! I wish I'd stumbled upon this forum before I bought my C43 on 01/03/2017. Below are the details of my deal.

C43 Sedan
Exterior: Polar white
Interior: Black leather with red stitch
Packages: Night package, Premium 2 package, Exterior carbon fiber package, 19 inch wheels with black accents (Run flats), AMG performance exhaust system, Interior LED accent lighting, Panaromic roof

MSRP: $62,295 incl. dest
Sale Price: $54,900

I just went to the dealer to test drive and ended up buying it. I fell in love with it instantly so couldn't resist. I wanted to lease it but the dealer quoted some really high numbers on the lease. It was an impulse buy so I wasn't prepared on stuff like money factor etc. but I knew the numbers were insane just by looking at the monthly payment. So, I ended up financing it at 2.99/72 months. My monthly payment is $848/month incl. everything ( Taxes, title and fees rolled into the loan ) with a $4K down payment. The lease numbers were almost the same which is insane. If I had done my research and was prepared on the money factor I probably would've got a good lease deal. Alas, there is nothing I can do now. I am planning to refinance with my bank though as I am pre-approved for a rate of 1.74/72 months.

I have a couple of questions though:

1) Is the MB prepaid maintenance worth it? The dealer is quoting $1675 for it. It is listed for $1475 on MB USA but the dealer says every dealer has a mark up based on the area.
2) Extended warranty of 2 yrs/ 25000 miles over factory warranty. The dealer is quoting $3600 (Negotiated from $5000) on it. Is it worth it? I am a first time MB owner so have no clue about the reliability of the cars and the benefit of purchasing an extended warranty. Any help is appreciated!

So I'm trying to order a C43 Coupe for European Delivery and these are the numbers my reputable client advisor got back to me with.

2017 C43 Coupe
- Black
- Cranberry Red Leather
- Night Package
- Premium 2 Package
- AMG Performance Steering Wheel
- 19" AMG Multispoke Wheels w/ Black Accents
- Black Ash Wood Trim
- AMG Performance Exhaust

MSRP $62,895 (w/o Destination & Delivery)

Less 5% for ED = $59,750
Less "Dealer Loyalty Discount" of $950 = $58,800 (before sales tax & fees)

He's saying this would yield a monthly payment of $895.92 for a 36-month lease at 10k mi/year at 7% sales tax with $2k drive-off (the initial deposit).

This sounds really high to me, especially after seeing so many C43 Sedan deals being talked about in the $600's. I also reached out to the same advisor in December and he quoted me a monthly payment of $781 for the same C43 Coupe but without the Performance Exhaust & AMG Steering Wheel. But an increase of $100/month for an $1800 difference in options seems like a bit much.

Any advice as how much room I have to negotiate or are these numbers par for the course for C43 Coupes right now?

Also, what should be the residual & money factor numbers for this month?

future AMG c43 coupe
Looking to make my first "fun car" deal and I am obsessed with the C43 AMG coupe with the performance exhaust...I've researched a ton of lease calculators but I am not sure what an outstanding deal would be. Here's what I was quoted for a 36month and 15k miles per year lease:

Lease offers:
8k down and $763/month for a $65,345 msrp model
8k down and $624/month for a $61,000 msrp model

Goal lease offers (realistic or not?)
4k down and $830/month for a $69,460 msrp model
6k down and $784/month for a $69,460 msrp model
6k down and $664/month for a $61,000 msrp model

I am not interested in buying the car after the lease term is over, and am thinking about asking how MSD's could help lower the total payments. Should I aim higher? lower?

If you are not interested in buying the car after the lease term, your goal must be to put little to nothing down if possible IMHO.

Take every single one of those options and turn the "down payment" to zero. Then add that number onto your monthly (divided over the lease term of course) and that's what you're actually paying per month.

NEVER put money down on a lease. It's just a visual trick to make you feel emotionally better about a slightly lower monthly. It's like photoshopping your ex's face onto your wife's body. Not real.

Wow at these deals. I have a 2016 C450 AMG and for the couple small minor changes, the pricing now is not good.

Next month I will be putting my car for a lease swap as I am moving. My payment is $498 + tax and I'll be asking for $0 down to me. NO MSDs, etc. just take over the car. With these prices I can't imagine my car will last too long on forum, leasing sites, etc. Oh yeah, I have over 1000 miles per month as I have 12K miles a year.

At the end of the day your either pay now or pay later. Even using his numbers the 2k down is 1656$ difference, so he lowers the payment by 46$ over 36 months with 2K down . He loses 344$ but it may work better budget-wise if he has the cash laying around...

I agree, this car while beautiful isn't worth the price they're going for.
Mid to low 500s and I'd be really tempted, but not mid 600s

I thought about buying a C63, but the dealer wouldn't let me test drive it. Ordered a Z06 instead.

C43 Sedan is much cheaper - fact. Also $500/m is probably 48+ term on base MSRP car.

Hilarious how you went from a C63 to a Z06. I went to a dealer just to see a Z06 and he let me drive it. One WOT and that was it! I love my Z06, the car is bonkers! Sounds way better too!

What do you guys think of this deal on a c43 cabriolet?
It only has the performance exhaust and blue premium paint.

We'll just agree to disagree. IMO it's just emotional manipulation.

If someone has $5000 for cap cost reduction (as an example) for a 36 month lease, they can simply put that cash under a mattress and pay the $139 extra per month.

There is only an emotional reason to tell yourself "It lowers my monthly".

It doesn't. You're just paying the higher monthly up front and taking the risk of losing the cap cost reduction.

Since renting a house is a close example, this would be akin to the landlord saying "I need first month's payment, last month's payment, plus an extra $____/month that I'm charging you. Don't worry, it will lower your monthly when you do that." Then the renter says "Ok, that sounds good to me."

You're getting 5% off the MSRP in that deal. I'd ask for a little more (whether off the price or perks/extra equipment).

Maybe if you also wait towards the end of this month, they'll panic to give you a slightly better deal.
