I ordered my C43 with the Audio 20, not command and did not receive power folding mirrors. I've seen that some of the c63's were built without power folding mirrors and dealers have successfully retrofited with a simple software update and new window switch on door. I'm assuming that all c63's were built with the motor mechanism but only a few had the right switch and coding.


I'm hoping the c43's have also all been built with the power motor mechanism in the mirrors and that its the same procedure. I've gone ahead and ordered the window switch. Has anyone successfully done this retrofit on a c43 or have any more info to share?

So I received the correct window switch with the power mirror button infront. It was on back order from Germany. I spoke to the service techs at my local MB yesterday and they are saying that in order to enable the power mirror function in the car, they need an official work order from MB corporate and they aren't willing to just enable the code "500" for me. I'm stuck at this stage. Anyone have a workaround/ any ideas how I can get this enabled? I wish this could be just codded on using a scan tool, but there doesn't seem to be anyone offering coding for our vehicles. Any help is appreciated.

I haven't received my car yet but it says 500 - Automatic folding mirrors. I'll be pissed if I don't get that!

I really do not think it is possible to be honest. I totally feel you though, I would be out of this world pissed if that was my car. Why didn't you just not accept the delivery?
