Hi guys,

just noticed a couple of "Chips" in the rear window tint on my C63s Sedan, like someone tried to remove a sticker and damaged the tint.
short of claiming for a broken rear window on the insurance is there anything I can use to cover up the chips?

Its the standard rear tint, looks like Mercedes don't use smoked glass any more!

I'm really surprised because I was certain mine was tinted glass rather than a film at the factory. I could be wrong of course.

Any chance the supplying dealer may have realised an error and had the rear done to look like the factory option? A friend in the tinting biz is kept busiest by dealers getting privacy type tints on the rears of X5, Cayenne and Range Rovers all before PDI so they're clearly not too worried about who does it.
