I love the rear design of the S63/S65 AMG Coupe.

It would be thrilling to see those design cues incorporated into the C205.

I've never owned a coupe before, and would love a C63S AMG Coupe to be the first.

Same here, I too hope they don't follow the trend of the CLA & A Class and leave the rear top part in metal for the panoramic roof top option.


I was hanging with my MB/AMG contact at his dealership this weekend and he told me a MB exec currently touring the factory in Germany has had a full visual on the new C 205 coupe range, from what he could say it is definitely a scaled down S Class coupe but that it looks even better because of the smaller size and better proportioning compared to the S coupe definitely worth looking forward to


- just hope that panoramic roof ends right as pointed out above.

I saw a black S Coupe this weekend for the first time. WOW!! I've also seen a silver one few months back from what I recall.

I don't want to wait too long to purchase my car, but if the C63 coupe is anywhere as nice as the S class coupe I may have second thoughts! That was stunning.

Hmm in pic #4 the back 2/3'ds looks pony car-ish. That's not necessarily such a bad thing. The front of the car looks like a shortened AMG GT, which makes some sort of sense...

At this stage its a fully refundable deposit, it just put me at the front of the line. I figured that I will be test driving the 4 door and that the coupe will have the same underpinnings, only the styling will change. If when its released it looks horrible (improbable) I'll pick up a 4 door instead.

I believe there is a 1500 non-refundable deposit on AMG models. It is stated on a different thread in this forum.

Coupe should definitely be better looking than the sedan, the general opinion at the moment regarding off looks if any is the rear section of the W205 however that'll all be different with the coupe.


That would depend on where your from and individual dealers/customers may have different individual deals going on.

In Australia where I'm located refundable deposit deals based on certain factors can be arranged - maybe different story for all you people in the U.S ??

As mentioned in one of my posts I do know an MB exec who's seen it but will not reveal much more than to say it looks incredibly good - better than even a S Class coupe in his opinion, very exciting times ahead for all involved with MB/AMG

You mean it's time to turn up the subtle looks not performance, there's nothing subtle about the new C63's performance

For me they can pour as much sexiness into it as they like but I'm hoping it remains elegant, not really one for overly aggressive looking sports cars.

I'm on the waitlist for the Porsche GT4 and I'm thinking if I do get an allocation it would be around spring next year (hopefully earlier). However, if I don't get an allocation for that car, I'll still have to wait until next spring anyways, when the C63S coupe is probably out. I like the M4, but just like everyone here, the new C63S coupe should blow people's minds!
