Wow, thx for sharing Matt. That facelift number looks wicked on the pre-facelift car. I still prefer our round fog light though.

She is easing in to it. The Jeep was her daily driver, and that was a beast to drive. That will probably go to Hennessy soon.

It's just an idle curiosity, why all of a sudden a MB? You have quite an American stable and then, bam!, a German car. I have complimented and still admire your choice, as your 63 is LOADED. I just wonder if your other rides are a little jealous now.
Have you dabbled in fine, ROW exotics or semi-exotics before? You are now in fine company, not slamming any of your other choices, okay maybe one. As Thrilla stated, you have got some serious muscle in your garage. I personally would like to hear what lead you to the C63? Thanks for sharing.

We have been driving the domestics for a long time. No matter what anyone else may say, the modern Chrysler products are very well engineered and have been absolutely trouble free. And believe me, they get driven very hard. Any of the SRT cars are very fast and stop very well.
My wife was getting tired of the SUV...Not so much tired of the Jeep itself, but the concept of driving an SUV every day. She likes performance, and I wanted to get her something that she could really enjoy and was up to date.
I had seen a 2009 C63 in a neighborhood used car lot and we drove it. It had over 70K on it and was rock solid. I looked around and found a 2012 with 7K on the clock for about 25% off the sticker. It was a good deal and we went for it.
We have put another 2,500 miles on it and it is such a well engineered machine. With an easy foot It gets better mileage than I thought it would.
We have not yet sold the Jeep. She drove it today for the first time in a couple of weeks and she does not want to give it up. I guess that will be for the Costco runs.
With regard to the vintage cars, I have been a Mopar fanatic since I was a kid. Each of the cars are show quality, and both have won several awards. I have always liked the crazy colors, and other nutty things that they did during that period.
My wife has always been interested as well. I have not bought anything she did not approve of, or would not drive herself. Not that I need her approval, but it sure makes things easier when everyone agrees.
I'll attach pictures.
I have enjoyed this forum. I hope to contribute more in the future. Thanks for reaching out.

And thanks for sharing!! You will find the C63 to be a very enjoyable car, especially from a family that appreciates performance. And you will find this forum enjoyable, as well. There are so many great guys(and wives) on here and share our enthusiasm.
The '69 and '70 are beautiful cars!! Feel free to share more, if you like. Anyway, here is the start of a beautiful relationship, err obsession.
PS. Careful of this site. It will encourage you to modify your C63. And modify your wallet.

Yes we are starting a small shopping list...
Is there a vendor of choice for clear bra's and other 3M products? I have looked but not seen any. Also, where do you guys get the clear front side marker lenses. I'll admit, I am a newbie, but willing to learn.
Here are a couple more pics of the classics.
