Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has taken a look at this C63 for sale in Fresno? Also hoping to get any feedback or words of advice... (I am in the market for a white C63 in the $42k to $48k range).

I'm trying to decide if I should consider it or not? What would you think Is fair for this considering it's a White 09 at a dealer (non CPO) with 40k miles (loaded with P30, nav....)? Biggest factor is that it will be out of warranty within a year.

With the exception of the mileage it has everything I want. Any advice would be much appreciated!

These independent used car dealers are always suspect. Pricing should be compared to something at or even below a private party sale. I doubt they have a service history and most likely bought it at auction. MBZ dealers also buy at auction but are a lot more picky about what they buy and do CPO the car. Also consider the dealer's location. Fresno is not exactly a financial capital and is one of the top forclosure cities in California. I'd offer $40k and see what happens. Much more than that and I would pass on this particular car.

Price is way too high for that year and mileage. Warranty will expire in another 10,000 miles - not good. Keep looking and you'll find a better one at a better price.

Way over priced.. I paid 50k for mine, it had 14k miles on the clock, and was a CPO to 100k or 1year beyond the expiration of the original warranty...

Are you guys negotiating actual car price, or out the door? I know tax, title, etc can be quite a bit.

I have the exact same car in black/black flawless with P30 and all, similar mileage, and would probably sell for low $40's. $48k is too high.

We are negotiating actual car price... Tax and fees are almost another $3,800 but thats to be expected with any car...

I dont mind overpaying a little bit since its exactly what I am looking for and since the white cars seem to be selling for a bit more across the board but I am wondering how much its going to kill my resale value when I try to sell the car in a couple years when its out of warranty...

Keep in mind that at that point most all 09's will be out of warranty because of the 4 year mark (even if they have under 50k miles) so I am thinking at least I wont be alone... Of course I would love to get a CPO 100k warranty car with everything I am looking for but I don't have the luxury of waiting for however many months that might take to surface...
