Newbie! Getting my 09 C63 tomrrow..

09 without perf. package.. 2k miles..

I am thinking about the kleemann ECU upgrade.. From GMP...

Are there any warranties issues with this... Does Kleemann offer anything?

Thanks, Frank

Also, looking for some cool aftermarket wheels.. Nothing to expensive.. But, its looks like not many choices for the C63..

Forgestar F14, standard mesh design. I think about 1,500 per set, not per wheel! I'd seriously consider them, if I didn't have my eye elsewhere. Apparently they're well made...similar to BBS?

Both tunes are very good, and we support them both, Kleeman does have an outstanding warranty policy.

Hi,

Following your suggestion I started looking to buy Forgestar F14 wheels. I've read and read to find some customer feedback and found mixed reviews.

Some have had huge delivery delays, but the worst have had a wheel's finish chipping just after a few months or poor finish quality. Interesting (but long) reads I recommend:

http://www.planet-9.com/porsche-tire...el-review.html

http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...nal-story.html

I still consider them because of the price (might be worth the risk) and if not gettting them refinished at around 150$ per wheel in the future. At 1500$ per set, great looks and good weight, that's still an interesting option considering most companies (yes, better too...) will charge this price for one wheel.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, that price is tough to beat. You're right about one wheel! It's too bad more manufacturers don't offer w204 friendly offsets, without having to special order and big $$$. I guess you have to remember the old adage, you get what you pay for and just bite the bullet.

You're welcome. All things considered they are still a very good purchase. Horror stories do happen for all companies.

The main reason I'd get them is that I live in Montreal and I've been in 3rd world countries that have had better roads, not kidding! Pot hole after pot hole, it's insane. Denting a 1500$ wheel would litterally drive me crazy and I know it's gonna happen. But at 1500$ for a full set, I'll stop worrying and I can even let my wife take the car once in a while LOL
