What's wrong with this c63? cloth amg seats w212 steeering wheel, instrument cluster?

Please check photos. Diferent instrument cluster and steering wheel plus half cloth real amg seats, never seen this before. Am I missing something? Is this a new version of c63 amg?

There are international C63 versions that have cloth seat and other options. Check outside the states

I dont think that it has anything to do with local versions of any country. Instrument cluster is completely different, it has an additional analog clock, steering wheel is an amg four spoke instead of three spoke.

The cluster looks like the cluster out of the new shape E63 (I was sitting in one two days ago and remember the clock on the left).

Could be a demo/test car, testing out new stuff for 2010 release/update. Hence, the seats don't need to be as good as finished product...maybe?

This would be shots of an early development car. Pre 2008 launch (Circa summer 2007)

Still in use today for continuing development of the C63.....

It is not an early 2008 development car bacause amg w212 instrument cluster and steering wheel came out after first launch of c63.

I would imagine that MB works on these things for several years so while it might have frist come out on the W212 it was probably in development for a while.

I am happy I bought mine in 09 because I do not like that instrument cluster. I prefer the simpler one we have. Who needs a big analog clock like that. just my 02 cents

IMO def. a test drive car from AMG to develop new thigs like the 5.5 Bi-Turbo engine, new software for the command system etc.

You mean that isn't the MB laptop accessory for the C63? Just a few bolt-ons through the dash.

Seems like 2010 model revisions including cluster, steering wheel and front grill. Also LED parkers (driving lights) replacing the current ones.

I'm excited considering my C63 is being built end of Jan and will be a true 2010 model (hopefully with these revisions)
