took a road trip in the C63

Decided to take a trip to Miami from NY in the C63, all i can say is i love the car even more! Very solid on the road cruises very nicely at high speeds . Took our time on the way down there made a few stops, was in no rush. But after being away for 2 weeks we just wanted to get home. Took me 16 hrs and 15 mins from miami to NY, without a ticket.Click the image to open in full size. This car is great. I had to replace the rears when i arrived in miami they lasted about 7k miles. Heres a small video of some clips i put together. The clips are from the video camera on my iphone so the quality is not the best but it does the job. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81_dPznjJoU

no way you did burn outs like that on OEM Ps and got 7k miles. maybe when the tires were shot you did that at the end but those things are so soft im surprised they even lasted 7k miles....

I love the fact that you can cruise comfortably for long periods in a c63 and then do burn out like in the vid.

The c63 is a bad boy with a twin personnality.

great vid.

I was also looking into the GTR but I wanted something more subtle and refined like the C63 decent truck size also $85k was too much. With a couple mods in the C63 it would run right with the GTR. Talk about a sleeper.

7K miles is great. Try 2200 miles out of a set of P-Zeroes.

I replaced with OEM P-Zeroes that time. I've since gone through those, a set of NT05s and a set of T1-Rs. Working on my second set of T1-Rs now.

I would driven mine to the threads too but we got hit with some hard rain for several days and my car was dancing all over the highway at anything over 40 mph.....

They hooked like nails in the dry though
