What I heard yesterday, when I was on base changing the oil in my C63. Was "is that the Dodge engine" referring to Mercedes association with Chrysler.

Lawyer 1 sitting across from me and several other lawyers in a deposition: "You're boss told me on the phone that you have a C63. Nice car."
Lawyer next to me says in response: "Is that a nice car?"
Lawyer 1 in his heavy NY accent yelps out: "It has sooo MUCH towque..." (then his voice just trailed off--it was classic).
One night I was driving home in Manual mode and I was really enjoying the exhaust sounds with my accelerating and downshifting, then a bizarre thing happened: This Jeep Wrangler with a young couple in it started driving beside me and every time we would get to a light they would enter into a very strange exhibition of chugging their arms up and down and making really loud "VRMMM" and "Whoosh" sounds, while bumping up and down in their seats. I wasn't sure if they were making fun or they were hypnotized by the exhaust and this was their instinctual response. It was scary and unfortunately I will forever have that vision etched in my brain.

Old man in my underground parking garage came up to me a few eeks ago after I started it and screams "Is it really necessary to rev your engine like that you *******!" - I revved the F out of it as he plugged his ears!

I set off the alarm on my neighbor's G37 everyday. Out of fair warning, I told him about it in case he comes out to a car with a dead battery and his response was "Oh, I didn't even know I had an alarm on this thing. I just lease these cars."

friend of a friend asked: what's the year of your car.. i replied: 09.. then he says: ah, just as i thought, coz yours is a c63, mine is a c300 which is newer.. me thinking, oh.. maybe because he thought he has a higher "c" number.

This morning coming into work I took a turn sideways and pulling out of a ford dealership up ahead was a dark blue expedition. I didnt think anything of it but as I went to pass on the left I noticed it was an undercover cop. He pulled beside me at the next red light where the speed limit goes from 70 to 50. Both our windows were down but I had music playing and heard a "Hey!" I turned the music down, looked over and the officer (Not in uniform) looks at me and goes "The sound of you exhuast is amazingggg!!" I smiled and said "Thank you, they sure know how to build a good car." He then goes "I saw how you took that turn.... Keep it civilized!" -I didnt know what to do. I just went quietly (if thats possibe) on my way.

pulled over by a cop saying the car is too loud it must have a custom exhaust and will give me a noise ticket next time (my car is stock)

Hey, we have the same car! - guy down the street from me with a c280 and rep wheels.
That car is angry at someone - my wife after her first ride.
One day as I dropped the kids at school, the young crossing guard (grade 6 or 7) was vegging out as they waited to cross so I blipped the throttle and caught his attention. My 6 yr old son gave me the thumbs up as he crossed. The next week we were in the library at a book sale and this whole table of boys kept looking at us. Finally I asked them what was up and one kid said "mister, I looked your car up on the Internet. It has almost 500 horsepower!"
Now whenever my son walks around the school all the older boys say "hi Ben" and throw him high fives and stuff. He says "Dad, don't ever sell that car,ok? It makes school reeeeeallll easy!"
It's a beautiful thing when your son thinks you're cool. Prolly about 20 more minutes of that left
