Had some requests to post more pictures of interiors that I've wrapped with the 3M di noc carbon fiber vinyl. Remember, I don't just do roofs, even though that's what most of my pictures are.

Feel free to let me know if you guys have any requests. I have tons of pictures that sometimes I just don't get around to posting.

Just as a public notice, since I've been getting a lot of PMs about it. 90% of mirrors are not practical to get wrapped in vinyl, due to their shape/designs. A lot of mirrors have a painted surface area that continues into the mirror portion/area, which is almost impossible to wrap the vinyl around.

Some mirrors are doable though, as I've done a few in the past, but in all of those cases, the mirrors painted surface/area did not curve around into the mirror itself, if that makes sense.

Clearing out some old pictures I have, before I move them to a different HD. First up is an E92 that I wrapped his roof with gloss black vinyl:

Second up is a 7 series that I tinted the tails and front corner lights on with some smoke tint. I thought it went very well with the color of the car.

Vinyl wrapped an s2000's hood and trunk in the 3M di-noc carbon fiber material (Don't mind the oil marks from my hands, I forgot to wipe it down before taking the pictures):

Your work is very impressive. I don't know much about vinyl wraps but I think you can tell a quality product when you see one. The exterior wraps how durable are they?

Thanks!

Thanks.

They are fairly durable. It's the same material that you guys see being used on race cars for their graphics and designs/sponsors/etc.

If it can hold up on the track, it'll hold up on the streets

Thanks for the honest response. One more quick question does it effect the paint at all? I would guess not because no one would do it but I wanted to be sure.

Thanks!

How often does the razor blade or x-acto knife hit the paint with some of those tight spaces? I know it happened with the chrome trim.

No. Only time I've seen/heard of vinyl damaging paint is the paint was already damaged to begin with, it was some unknown vinyl brand being used, and the person had the vinyl on their car for ~15 years.

Should be a non issue, depending on the installer, since the vinyl should be wrapping around the trim.

Considering doing a GB for smoked tail light tinting. Need 5 cars, price would be roughly $50 installed.

Need 5 cars to make this happen.

Let me know if any of you guys would be interested in this, and we'll set a date/location for it all to be done.

Will be posting pictures in order that they were requested.

First up is an E55 AMG that I tinted the clear portions of the tail lights, the third brake lights, the turn signals on the mirrors and did gloss black on his roof:

Posting pictures of what people requested for. I tinted the clear portion on the tails of this E60. It as a bit overcast that day, so the tint/tails appear slightly darker. However, I took the pictures to true representation as possible of the tails and the shade at that moment.

Just posting up some more picture requests. Sorry if it takes a while to get to them all, since there's a lot of requests, and I go in order of the requests made. I'll eventually get to all of them.

Vinyl wrapped the roof and hood of this VW MkV GTI with the 3M di-noc carbon fiber material (did his roof 6 months prior and he finally decided to get his hood done as well):

Been having the owner of this car telling me to post pictures of his car up, so I skipped ahead and did his pictures for him first

Kind of a kill two requests in 1, as people have been asking me to take a bit more pictures at certain/various angles for them, so here you go to those who asked.

Some more pictures of the 3M Carbon Fiber Di-Noc material that I used to vinyl wrap the roof of this E46 3 series.

Tinted the tails on this C63, vinyl'd his window trim with matte black to cover up the chrome window trim, and wrapped/blacked out his amber bumper reflector.

The tails looks amazing... just the right shade! Is it spray tint or vinyl?

Everything you see in this thread is vinyl being used only.

If you need materials to do your tails, I can sell it to you as well so you can DIY.

Amazing job on the tails
My vinyl guy told me it was impossible to wrap them because of their "concave" shape.

I've also done the tails on an ML. I'll post those in a couple of days once I get a chance to get to them.

Tired of white car after white car with black roofs yet? Here's a Kia Forte that I vinyl wrapped the roof in gloss black. Pretty cool little car and a nice change of pace of all the euro/white cars.
