just skip the tires and use the car--you can tell everyone on the mountain you have the most expensive board
my car will never see the white stuff so it will never get snows, but I've had blizzaks on a BMW and they worked great--I've always had 4X4s for work so my F150 gets all the snow duty, or my wifes E91xi (that's our family beater, gotta put those Bimmers in their place sometimes)

I ran dunlop winters last year 225 all the way around. Had no problems. My rears are a little more than half gone so I want to get some new rears. I looked on tire rack and discount tire doesn't seem they offer the dunlops anymore. I was wondering what brand I should get to mix with the dunlops upfront?

Advises for C63 on snow
Hi guys,
Got my C63 3 weeks ago, and now there is snow everywhere. As the car is very light on the back and it's 2 wheel-drive, do you have any advises for me on how to drive it on snow?
I had a BMW 125i which I was use to drive on snow , but this car is slightly different

Yes, pull into your driveway, hit the button that opens your garage door, pull into garage, remove key, close garage door, wait 4 months and repeat process in reverse order.

I have snow tires =)
In fact the snow is the worst you can have at the moment, It was easy to drive on the highway even if there is snow everywhere.

I am not sure why everyone is so adverse to taking their car in the snow. I agree that the salt and sand they throw on the roads is not good for the car and I would avoid this at all costs, but as far as driving in fresh snow with decent snow tires the car is ok. As others have stated, just use common sense and remember you have 450+ and rear wheel drive. Will the car perform like 4matic? No, but I think the car is fine in the winter. In fact I love the way the car performance improves when the roads are clean/dry with the really cold air! Guess growing up in Canada I simply got use to having to drive in the snow and winter conditions.

If I couldn't afford to have a beater or 2nd car I'd never purchase the C63 living in an area with inclement weather. My integra will hopefully get the job done this winter!! Dont drive it if you can, and if its your only car, I'd at least get winter tires

I probably could but just had a friend pass away after he lost control on bad tires. So i really didn't want to take the chance for a few hundred bucks.

On the same note it is probably not best to try to mix and match your tires. People do it and get away with it but it is probably not the wisest thing to do, especially since you are seeking to maximize your chances of avoiding loss of control of your vehicle.

I have the same question, I understand that its rwd and 400+hp, but would snow tires really not help? I am not talking about 2 feet of snow, just saying. I just have a tiny problem, there is a hill where i go snowboarding thats kind of in the way. Regardless really considering the blizzaks...
