facelift c63 getting MCT

google translate:

Besides the already introduced CLS 63 AMG V8 BiTurbo with 525 hp or 557 hp (including Performance Package) (both with M157 DE 55 AL) will follow in 2011 other AMG models.
The new SLK 55 AMG (R172) is the 5.5-liter V8 to even the current S 63 / CL 63 and CLS has 63, but as a naturally aspirated (no bi-turbo charging). In addition to the ECO start / stop system (C drive program) and direct fuel injection for the first time after the S 500 (W220) again with cylinder deactivation (ZAS).
The C-class facelift of the C 63 AMG will continue to be supplied with well-known M156 E 63rd However, he is no longer with the 7G-Tronic torque converter (NAG2), but with the MCT transmission (NAG2VSport) with wet clutch (NAK) is installed. The new C-Class Coupé (C204) is probably also an AMG variant obtained. Even here, though, the new V8-sucker (M152) as in the new SLK are used (R172). This engine will probably not come close to the performance of the C 63 AMG.

Later, a turbocharged four-cylinder engine as A-Class AMG Coupé will appear with 4matic (but not before 2013). 2013, is also the SLS-E-Cell will be available. At the IAA 2011, first presented to the SLS Roadster.

Does this mean it's gonna get that fun little trans mode knob that the E63 and SL get?

Finally.... I hope they use the upgraded MCT which is being used in the new twin turbo cars not the MCT in the SL63.

2013 C63 AMG P31, 2014 GMC Sierra (6.2)
Despite the rather humorous translation there are a few items I'm not sure of what to make:

"The new C-Class Coupé (C204) is probably also an AMG variant obtained. Even here, though, the new V8-sucker (M152) as in the new SLK are used (R172). This engine will probably not come close to the performance of the C 63 AMG".

I believe they are saying the new C-Class coupe will have an AMG version and that it will share the same engine with the new SLK AMG -- A different one than the current NA6.3 and that it may not be as powerful as the current NA 6.3?

how diff is first and second generation MCT? bug fixes? I'm Sure Somebody will retrofit MCT to our non-facelift model eventually.... dont know if existing LSD can be used with the MCT transmission.

Correct. the AMG-version of the c-coupe will receive the same engine as the slk amg, the new 5,5 liter V8 but without the the twin turbo as in the cls, s-class, etc.
They are also saying, that this car will not even come close to the power of
the c63. But I'm not sure if the are talking about the current c63 or the upcoming with mct.
But instead of power they add a couple of fuelsaving crap...

I'm not 100% sure but I think the MCT version that came on the SL63 and even the ones that come on the 2010 to 2011 E63 are not rated for high torque numbers. I believe they are spec'ed for the naturally aspirated 6.2L engine. The MCT version that will come with the twin turbo engine will most likely have a more re-enforced platform to handle close to 700 ft-lbs of torque. Also, there has been countless "bugs" with the MCT when it first came out for the SL63 and there were a fair amount of tranny replacements across the country.

mct gets rid of the power absorbing torque converter.

a c63 no options except amg dev package and lsd, with mct. now that's interesting.

hey guys i came onto the thread after searching for info on the c63 black series. appears this is not being discussed? find that hard to believe!
